Apprenticeship: Business Administration NVQ Level 3
Can you summarise why you signed up for your Apprenticeship?
My partner has been working in the automotive industry as a technician and I was really intrigued to learn more about what he does on an everyday basis and to benefit myself.
What is the best bit about your Apprenticeship?
The overall knowledge has really boosted my confidence. I was really shy at first, but I have learnt how to deal with customers, face-to-face and over the phone.
What is the one piece of advice you would give somebody thinking about starting an Apprenticeship?
If this is something you are really passionate about, do not hesitate and don’t let anything stand in your way.
Was ‘earning while and learning’ important to you?
It was not the most important thing, but it definitely gives you motivation and helps you keep going.
What’s the best thing you have learnt while doing your Apprenticeship?
I have learnt how the business is working not only at its front, but also behind the scenes. It was a very interesting process to find out everything about the company I am working for.
What career do you hope to follow after your Apprenticeship ends?
I would love to maintain my role, and climb the ladder within the company. At the moment I am a Service Advisor, but I am hoping to progress further soon.
